When your routine starts to feel like a prison.

You build the ideal morning, stack one useful habit onto the next, and create a plan for doing everything right. For a while, it works. Then the plan starts to feel like a set of demands you made for someone else.

1Build the perfect system
2Fall behind the system
3Rebel against the system
4Start over with a stricter one

AMWAP does not ask you to build a better prison. It gives you a different place to begin: notice the positive action that is already real, then use it as evidence that you can move.

How it works

Do first. Log second. Build from there.

There is no routine to configure and no daily checklist waiting to judge you. The entire loop starts with one completed action.

  1. 1 Notice a win.

You did something that moved life in a better direction. You decide what qualifies.

  2. 2 Log it in seconds.

Write one short line. No category, score, plan, or explanation is required.

  3. 3 Let the evidence add up.

See today’s wins together and return to past wins when you need proof of movement.

Made for variable human beings

You can be distractible, inconsistent, or chaotic and still move forward.

Some people thrive on repeating the same routine every day. Other people need novelty, flexibility, a lower barrier to starting, or permission to change direction. AMWAP does not assume one style is morally superior.

That can make the app relevant to people with ADHD and other neurodivergent users, but AMWAP is not a diagnosis or treatment. It is simply a flexible tool built without streak pressure, prescriptive schedules, or punishment for disappearing and returning.

Not a habit tracker with nicer colors.

AMWAP changes what gets tracked. The difference is not cosmetic. It changes where the pressure sits and what happens after an imperfect day.

Research-informed, without pretending an app is therapy.

AMWAP combines several modest, well-supported ideas. The research supports the ingredients, not a promise that this specific app will produce a particular clinical outcome.

01

Recording progress can support follow-through.

A meta-analysis of 138 studies found that interventions prompting people to monitor progress improved goal attainment, with stronger effects when progress was physically recorded. AMWAP applies the recording part to completed positive actions.

02

Self-compassion does not have to reduce motivation.

Across four experiments, responding to failure with self-compassion increased motivation to improve. That supports AMWAP’s decision to remove shame mechanics rather than treating guilt as the price of progress.

03

Autonomy-supportive language matters.

Research on psychological reactance finds that controlling language can increase a perceived threat to freedom. AMWAP therefore invites, records, and reflects. It does not prescribe or scold.

Frequently asked questions

What counts, what happens on a quiet day, and how AMWAP differs from another routine to maintain.

What is AMWAP?

AMWAP stands for As Many Wins As Possible. It is a momentum tracker for logging positive actions after they happen, from getting out of bed on a hard day to finishing a major project.

How is AMWAP different from a habit tracker?

Habit trackers usually ask you to decide what you will repeat and then measure whether you complied. AMWAP starts with completed action. There are no required habits, broken streaks, or failed days.

Is AMWAP designed for people with ADHD?

AMWAP is not an ADHD treatment or medical tool. It is designed to be flexible, fast, and non-punitive, qualities that may appeal to people with ADHD or anyone who finds rigid routines difficult to sustain.

Can small actions really count as wins?

Yes. You decide what counts. Drinking water, replying to one message, taking medication, resting when needed, asking for help, or doing five minutes of a larger task can all be real wins.

What happens if I do not use the app for a day?

Nothing breaks. AMWAP does not use streaks, missed-day warnings, or penalties. You can return with the next positive action you want to acknowledge.

Your next win can be small. It still counts.
